When you change your life in a small way and keep on doing things in this different way, after a surprisingly short time, your life will be different. A boat that changes its rudder by one degree will soon enough be headed in the opposite direction. Intentionally changing little things will be the start of a process that will radically change your life. Whether its’ learning a language, writing a book, building a website, having a great marriage, building a career or getting rich, persistently acting in a small way is key - a dripping tap soon fills the bucket!

Want it—want it from your core and want it congruently. If your desire is strong and congruent, it will be hard NOT to take action. If action isn't coming naturally, check to see if your goal is a "should" or a "good idea" instead of a desire. If it is a desire, is it strong? If it passes that check, look for all reasons you might not want to accomplish it. (Fear of success? People might treat you differently? You might have to take more responsibility? You might turn it into a "should" and it'll be less enjoyable? What if you don't like the result? Something else?) Address those and remove the resistance, and action will come easily. |

I'm trying 30 minute slots of focus to make change. I keep on thinking my watch has stopped I get so much done! It's all about overcoming the resistance of your reactive brain that thinks things will be a lot harder to change than they are. |

You should always ask yourself if that’s the best use of your time right now. Do you need some downtime after a long day of working toward your goals? Then go ahead, have some fun. But if you’re more interested in playing before the work is done, you’ll find yourself constantly distracted, and never reaching your goals.
