Need some help...I am so lost

I have a site ALMOST ready to be launched, but disagreements with the programmer who was doing it, messed everything up!

The site is wordpress based, integrated with a vbulletin forum just like steve pavlina's website. Its also a personal development site which i will use for projecting my creative self expression and earning throu (among other sites i am passionate on setting up).

Problem is, i dont know HTML or PHP, so i cant do anything to the theme or anything. Just add posts. I dont even know how to add an RSS feed so people can subscribe.

Its been months of slow progress and now it seems all dead as i cant find anyone who can do this for me. I have also been looking everywhere to see how much i can learn about editing themes for wordpress and how to integrate with wordpress. But found hardly anything, the stuff i found, i did not understand.

I dont know what to do. The future seems fogged up. The technical stuff like this isnt sorted, how will i even start improving on my own writing skills which are important for the website...if the technical stuff is stopping me all the time. I already feel like a failure

If you're using Wordpress then you shouldn't need to know HTML/PHP - if you can upload a theme directory then everything else can be done from within WP-ADMIN (if that is working).

I've considerable experience with Wordpress (see my Blog SimonStapleton.com) and see for yourself - and most of this experience is without any knowledge of PHP/HTML.
