Default Weekly Review

Just out of curiosity, What sort of things do you analyse in your weekly review?

Would love to have some interesting ideas, as I am in the process of refining my weekly review process.

Well, it includes all reas of my life. Take for example:

1. Health (how many 10 minutes exercise sessions I have done)
Note. 10 minutes is min that I believe to get some results. Also, it is easy to start 10 min session. In my case, the 10 min session normally turns into 40-60 min session.
Let Us Grow: A 10-Minute Exercise Routine You Can Do Anywhere

2. Family. How much quality time I have spent with them. I normally aim at going for joint activities (visiting a new town together, learning something, watching a good movie together, playing together, teaching kids something etc). I grade it 1-10.

3. Finance/career. Assessing if I am on the track.

4. Social. Calling/e-mailing at least 10 friends/family memners/relatives who are away. One combined dinner/lunch with friends/social links every fortnight.

5. Self development / Learning. I have weekly goals for book/article reading, putting the read things into action. Details vary from week to week.

6. Spiritual, contribution. How I am helping others, contribution, random acts of kindness etc.

Weekly review normally takes me about an hour.

Hi,

Thanks for some interesting ideas there. Mine currently includes

1. Going through a checklist which prepares me for the week ahead, i.e. sorting calender + tasks, clearing inbox, clearing wallet of junk, etc. etc

2. I also go through a longer session, where I analyse any problems I may have faced during the week, i.e. work related problems, arguments, etc. and try to find the root cause so that they can be avoided in the future. The time spent on this varies considerably, but I believe quiet reflection throws up a lot of good answers sometimes or at least make you consciously aware if problems need further attention.

Will look forward to more interesting ideas..
