Default Questions to ask

I'm trying a new exercise for myself - I want to come up with a series of questions, and ask them myself every time I go to bed, such as "What have I accomplished today?", "How does this relate to my Goals?", "What am I going to do tomorrow?", etcetera.

I want to see if it will grant me a better understanding of how I spend my time, and will motivate me to work harder for the future.

I'm also thinking of making a similar list that I can ask myself in the morning.

Anyone got any suggestions for some questions or affirmations?

Well, I know I am a feeler, so I would probably ask myself how I felt at the end of the day so that I could analyze it and go from there. Just asking "What did I accomplish?" would not be so beneficial for me. I would probably trick myself or avoid the areas I actually need to accomplish. I am forced to be more honest with myself when I go from feelings.

Just for an easy example, if I left a kitchen full of dirty dishes and didn't start my research paper, when I asked myself how I felt I might say "I feel lazy and overwhelmed." Then I would ask myself, "Why do I feel this way?" and "What can I do to not feel this way? (or to continue feeling this way tomorrow if it was something that was positive for me?)" etc...

But...that's just how I work. Just putting it out there for ya!

I might have to try this out now, thanks.

Default The sun'll come up... tomorrow!

"What do I want to accomplish tomorrow?" and "How can I make tomorrow run smoother, more efficient, and more productive than today?" are the two questions I ask myself at the end of every day.

Once today is gone, it's gone. I try not to dwell on my accomplishments of today - instead I look towards the future and see what else I can to do accomplish my goals even quicker while still having a lot of fun on the path.

I generally sketch out a rough idea of how I want tomorrow to look - along with asking myself those two aforementioned questions - and I fall asleep. The next day I get working right on my list of tasks. Most (about 90%) of the time, everything works out according to how I envisioned it. Occasionally I'll be thrown off track or I won't implement a suggestion I gave myself, but it's no big deal if that happens. I just try harder the next day.
