Default What can increased brainpower do?

Hi! Jeremy here. Check out my mini-bio underneath the "Introductions" thread. Anyway, from just my cursory examination, it seems that people have been discussing the effects of increased brainpower, with the one example that I have seen being increased memory capability.

Anyway, I wanted to inquire to see what effects increased brainpower would produce?

I know that's probably a "loaded" question, but, I look forward to the answers.

Also, if you could, when you list an added benefit, if you could list a way to develop the brain further in that direction.

Please and thank you,

Jeremy

It looks like you are asking what the benefits of an increased memory are...

That seems like a pretty simple question to me. You can remember more stuff

The experiences that I have had in working on my memory skills involve memorization techniques. After reading some articles by Steve back in the day, I checked out a few links and did a little research on my own and found some techniques on how to memorize things. Unfortunately, I only explored this subject long enough to enjoy the novelty effects of being able to memorize long lists very quickly. I was very surprised at how well these techniques worked (unfortunately, I cannot find the article with the link in it right now, but it was an article that had to do with how Steve got his degree really quickly).

The stuff really did work, and the idea is that the more you use them, the better you become and eventually you will be able to integrate them into your normal behavior and become much faster and more efficient at memorizing stuff. For example, I remember after reading a few articles, I applied these techniques and literally, the first time I tried it I was able to memorize lists 20+ items long nearly instantly.

Obviously this can have profound benefits in many realms.

Default Many answers to that question

If you only think of memory, i to find it obviously. You will be able to remember more things.

But what are things? Thats interessting. I dont care very much about being able to memorize a list of some sort, but what i do care about is to be able to remember things as i talk to people. You know how it is in a conversation. You think of what you want to say while the other one is talking and when you get you chance you only manage to say half of it. I can not count all the times I have left a discussion thinking, why did i not say this and that.

I know for my own sake that i want to improve on this and I know it only takes focus and disipline. So that would be my answer. Better memory would make me a lot better in conversations with others.

If you WANT to get a better memory, you WILL get it.
