Instead of another thread that is making a competition of x vs y (where people feeled compelled to justify why they DIDN'T pick the "loser" or comment on another's choice) how bout just saying which three people (personal development or not) you'd like to spend an hour with, living or dead. I'd pick Christ, Buddha, and George Washington. Stephen Power-Book Library: Free personal development, success, inspiration and motivational classics |

Great question.... hmmm,.... how about an Alien from another planet, Jesus, so I could learn first hand how he got so good at what he did, a dog that could talk, of course any time with my wife and kids, George Washington... I could go on...

33.3 minutes with John Lennon, 33.3 minutes with Alexander Graham Bell, 33.3 minutes with whoever invents the 1st working time machine. Keep the change.

1. Zig Ziglar 2. 2nd Grade Teacher -- first person to give a crap and notice I was in a rough home. 3. Myself 10 years ago -- to tell me everything would turn out fine (l suspect a lot of us could've used this in our teenage years?) Since #2 & #3 aren't possible, I want Hugh Jackman & Angelina Jolie too Last edited by Flame; 12-08-2006 at 01:30 AM. |

1. my dead grandmother, who really believed in me. It'd be neat to see what she has to say. 2. Thomas Edison: I would ask him if it's true he failed at making the light bulb 9,999 times before succeeding. I'd ask him where that kind of self-confidence comes from. 3. If we can include celestial entities, which seems like a stretch to say the least DA |

I would pick my future self. I want to know where I have gone wrong, what my greatest regrets and mis-accomplishments were, and the greatest lesson my future self would want to pass on to me. If that is not possible, I want to have an hour with Warrant Buffet, Tony Robbins, and all the dictators of the world, for their world domination advices. |
