Default separating productivity from feelings

Ok, I have a question, if you are a famous, successful novelist, with a certain number of popular novels, and you still have a work ahead to do, but you are not feeling good, or quite happy, would that ruin the whole thing? I mean would you be upset, unsatisfied that you can't accomplish a constant state of happiness regardless what you had accomplished up until now? what im trying to say is that the alterations of mood, states of thinking, flowing and repeating of certain events in life they all will be the same... so u cant reach a point that sadness wouldn't couldn't reach u thats nonsense there will be always times of sadness, happiness , optimism, fear.. etc... and life always was about alteration between all those...
consequently, the major step here is to accept the idea that you can't whatsoever totally get rid of vulnerability, and you will continue to go through different states and feelings.. i mean its not reasonable or healthy to feel happy all the time...
bottom line: you have to accept that point in order to accept life....
and my idea is that separating productivity from our feelings is a great thing that gives us the ability to keep going in doing what we think we are meant to do....
what do u think?

I think emotion is extremely important. I think the struggle of life is what makes great writing. If everything is the same, then you could move to a small town where no one knows you and pretend you have no money, get to know the locals, and go through their struggles... find new stories... the more experience you get, the better you are as a writer. No matter what stereotypes you've placed on people, each individual is a unique character and has a lifetime of experiences to draw from.
