Default Sedona, EFT or Silva Method?

I want to do some more training this year and I'm thinking of the above 3.

I can do the EFT and Silva here in Orlando but would have to travel for the SM.

I'd love to hear from people that have done more than one of the relative merits or even those that have only done one and had a great experience.

FWIW I have done 2 NLP Master Practitioner courses and I'm a trained life coach and hypnotherapist.

EFT saved my life.

About a year and half ago, my fiancé committed suicide after I ended the relationship. Besides grief, I dealt with excruciating guilt and self-hatred. I felt like I had murdered him.

I hadn't eaten or slept in 10 days.

I went to a master EFT practitioner, and after a 2-hour session, I immediately went to sleep. The next day, I started to eat.

Within 8 months, I was a changed person.

By the way, my EFT practitioner was also a board-certified physician, and I met her in person. She came highly recommended by Pat Carrington, who is one of the most respected experts in EFT. If I had done EFT on my own, I would NOT have had such dramatic results.

After 8 months, I was no longer in emotional crisis. Therefore, I moved over to a life coach EFT practitioner (I also met her in person), who also practiced TAT (Tapas Accupressure Technique) as well as inner child healing (à la John Bradshaw). I found TAT to be an EXCELLENT companion to EFT. And inner child work is absolutely brilliant, in general.

Today, I still use EFT, TAT, and a new technique I found - BSFF (Be Set Free Fast). I would say I use these techniques every 2 weeks or so, on my own. However, I have almost a year of face-to-face EFT work with extremely experienced practitioners, so my solo work is probably more sophisticated than the average, never-worked-with-a-professional soloist. Therefore, my results have always been extraordinary.

Before EFT, I have done years of talk therapy and some hypnotherapy. They were very useful, but the difference between regular therapy and EFT is the speed of recovery.

It took about 1 year for me to recover from the suicide...on average, it takes about 3 years. The end results is about the same (I assume), but I cut the time by 1/3.

These days, I do a little more TAT than EFT - I find that results are comparable, and TAT is much more intuitive.

Thanks for the recommendation uberinquistive.

I have found Silva also useful.

But all these technqiues require efforts. These are no magic pills.

Tim, besides the fact that I really love EFT - I would recommend you go with EFT because of it's fast-growing "brand name."

TAT also has growing clout - Kaiser Permanente has done research on TAT and weight loss maintenance. I personally have used TAT for my eating habits and such and it has been "wow-ee!" for me.

I used to eat steak 3-4 times a week, take-out Chinese food (roast pork friend rice and General Tso's chicken) and fried chicken about 5-6 times a week. I was addicted, constantly hungry, and refused to change my eating habits for about 7 years (despite having high cholesterol at age 25).

Then, about 2 months ago, I decided to try the TAT weight loss procedure (after reading about the Kaiser Permanente study). Without any effort whatsoever, I totally changed my eating habits. I eat rice and tuna on a daily basis. I eat red meat maybe once a week. In the mornings, I crave a juicy plum. This is a f*cking miracle.

I hope my glowing testimonials don't confuse your situation more!

Thanks a lot everybody.

I had never heard of TAT and I'm intrigued by it now I have read some.

I'm doing my EFT in August and plan on going really woo-woo and doing a Landmark course in September! I'm very interested in knowing more about it as I had a couple of friends that did EST training years ago and loved it.

I am lucky enough to have a friend who has tried EFT and the Sedona Method. He told me to just go for SM and not bother with EFT. While I have never tried EFT personally, using the Sedona Method feels enough to me. In a short span of 9 months, with inconsistency in the first 6 months, I am happy to say that my life has changed tremendously with SM. I feel like it's the only thing I'll ever need to improve my life. Hope that doesn't sound like a sales pitch
