| I am studying to become a personal trainer and I am having problems with studying. It is all at home so that makes it hard plus I have a 15 month old daughter that at times wants to get at my books while I am reading them. What I really need help with is recalling what I learned. An example I finished chapter 3 no problem than around chapter 8 there's referances to chapter 3 and I have already forgot about most of chapter 3. I was thinking of reserving time to reread earlier chapters. The good news is I walk to my work and made flash cards of vocab words in each chapter covered. I read them along the way to and from work. This has helped lots. I have to say I know lots on exercise but the biology part is what is killing me. I mean so far I have learned how our body works is quite amazing.

| I had a similar problem like u, but i overcame it by linking my new memoy with an old one, supose ur learning a new topic, link it with a similar thing u already know, that could be anything of the world as long it seems similar, after studying like this when u forget something try to remember the link and the forgotten thing will just pop up on ur mind. another thing i do is make a hard topic a game, like puzzle, only solving it in backwards. And why not u sing the topics ur reading with the tune of ur favorite songs to ur daugther. by this ur daughter will be entertained and you'll get your study done too. i hope these ideas will help u. best of luck. | Hello. Maybe you're not a "study by words" person. Perhaps you'd learn more visually by watching a video. I think audio learning isn't appropriate as you'll need to see diagrams of the body. Good idea to let junior join you up to a point BUT it's important not to have your study routine hi-jacked.
