| Mazhar, all of those things you fear happening might actually happen. Also, 99 gazillion other things might happen. Actually more than that -- that's just the biggest number that sprang from my fingers at the moment. 99 gazillion times 99 gazillion times... well, you know. To stop yourself from doing what you are passionate about doing because of what might happen is to prevent yourself from really being alive. Of course, if you're not passionate about what you're thinking about doing, then maybe it's time to rethink what you're doing! All there is to do in life is to take your next right action, to be present, to enjoy the moment you're in, and to make corrections if you need to. Every action you take could as easily be construed as a triumph or a mistake, depending on your perspective, and you are free to change your perspective at any moment. You are the one in charge of living a life you love, whatever happens, and you can count on some of it being uncomfortable. If I were you, I'd start by noticing that you say "can't" when you really mean "won't." Big difference in the personal power available to you. So, what are you going to do? |

| The good news is i've successfully accomplished the first step of hurdle of getting started in study. and iroically it is similar to the Trezker's monkey see monkey do formula. i saw a not so birlliant classmate writing pages after pages in the exam and i know he has accopmished it by sitting on the table for hours and taking his brain to the last limit. and i got to think if he can do it then it is a shame that my pages are almost empty. but i'm still suffering from restarting problem and sometimes i seem to lost my way.

| one of Steve's old blog posts describe a technique where you sit down and do what you're supposed to for at least 30 minutes. After 30 minutes you are free to do what you want. He calls it timeboxing Overcoming Procrastination by Steve Pavlina "No matter how unpleasant the task, there's virtually nothing you can't endure for just 30 minutes if you have a big enough reward waiting for you." Well, I think the most basic reward is peace of mind. The only way to get work out of your head is by getting something done. If you have a time box of 30 minutes, you know that the workload is very limited so you can get through it. Afterwards you can feel good about having done something.

| I had read and trying to use the Overcoming Procrastination technique for months, sometimes it works like a miracle for me, but can't get back on track after the break. i have the five technique of Overcoming Procrastination written on the wall facing my reading table. right now all i'm concern of is how to repeat the miracle again & again.
