| Here's a question I read in "I can Make You Rich" by Paul Mckenna. If you woke up one morning in a place where you knew no one with $100 in your pocket, how long would it take for you to double your money, and how would you do it? I think I'd start by buying some writing supplies with the $100 and write poetry or short stories about the place I had found myself in and the people who lived there, then start trying to sell my work, either as a souvenir for tourists or something that people could simply enjoy while drinking their morning coffee. How much would be a reasonable price for a poem or a short story? $1 a poem, $5 a short story? Later I'd be able to buy a computer and a printer and print out my poems and stories and employ someone to deal with the sales of my work and an editor to help me make my writing the best it can be. In time I could be a millionaire. |

| fold it in half? sorry, I felt that was lame enough to put in. I'm not terribly entreprenurial and in all honesty I would get my resume printed and buy a cheap, but fasionable enough, second hand suit and hit the agencies. Eventually I will start my own consulting firm but right now I am still in training. Last edited by silicon toad2000 : 04-22-2008 at 11:21 AM. |

| Your money isn't the only resource available. It is very easy to find work that pays you 5$/hour in many western countries. I would spend the 100$ on something to eat while I search a job. If you want to earn 100$ entrepreneurship isn't the way to do it. Entrepreneurship is there to do more than you could do in a job.

| The question could be taken further. Now you've got your $200 can you double that and make $400? How about taking one million and making two million? Sure you could get a job and work for someone else and make counterfeit money. I've thought of a few others. You could steal the money from other people. invest in the stock market and even try gambling. What if the goal was to make millions from that $100? |

| Here's a way you can double $100, if you like shopping. Take $100 and go visit your local thrift shops, church sales, and/or a community-wide rummage sale (because you don't want to spend a whole lot of time and gas running all over the place, a community-wide sale is great) and buy all the crochet magazines you can find that are in really good condition. Don't spend more than 25 cents each. Make sure they have all their pages and don't have coffee stains and aren't wrinkled from being overused. After you've spent your $100, you'll have at least 400 magazines. Then you can list them on eBay. You can see on this page which ones bring in the most money. It helps to have large groups of the same title. http://search-completed.ebay.com/cro...Z1QQsofocusZbs |

| I would go to a local casino and play on the lowest ($) poker tables I can find. I've got a decent shot of doubling it in a pretty short time, naturally there is some risk involved *shrugs*.
