| Im not a natural early riser by nature either, but I do see the value - i certainly get more done in the day when I wake up early. My advice would be to reframe how you see getting up - not as a challenge, or something you are going to do just for 30 days, but as a gradual change to your lifestyle permanently. Also you use some negative language in your post: "I will get tired midmorning,I will take another bath, that always helps..." If you are visualizing and thinking that you will be tired mid morning, then yes you will be, that you will need some "help" implies that this is going to be a struggle for you - if you think like that, then yes it will be Don't be the person who will struggle to get up early, who will get tired each midmorning, who will need extra help. Reframe your thinking to be looking forward to the early rising, think of all the positives - the time you will gain from not over sleeping, the extra work you will get done in the day, a natural regular & healthy body clock. Focus only on the positives, ignore the negative, keep your end goal in sight and you will achieve it. Dan |

| I agree with Dan that you're most likely to find success by focusing on the positive. It might be something as simple as finding a great place nearby to watch the sunrise. If it's a really great place you won't want to miss it. A couple of years ago, I made the transition from being a "night person" who stayed up late, to a "morning person" who was up and around and going strong when most folks were crawling out of bed. At first it was rough, but eventually I had to start going to bed earlier just because I was tired. Then it was easier to get up earlier. Now I wake up early every day no matter what. It really does make the day better for me. |
