Question NLP weekly subliminals?

Hi all,

Does anyone know where I can find some of the NLP Weekly free subliminal mp3's? They used to be on a dedicated site but that was canned and the original site has no other links to them.

Thanks

Asking on their forum would probably be a better idea.

On the other hand Shlomo might just have come to the conclusion that giving out subliminals as placebos isn't anymore his style (and yes, Shlomo doesn't think that they are more than placebos).

It are just renamed MP3's.
Some people need some placebo to change a mental reason to change.
You might use another ritual and get the same effect.

It's interesting that Bandker slams subliminals. There's a great story of him giving subliminals to clients with him whispering things like 'kill yourself' be unhappy' etc on them but telling the clients they were poiotive messages designed to make them feel good. The net result was they all came back and said they worked.

What does that tell you about subliminals?

Well, what does research tell us about subliminals (at least audio subliminals)? That they're a waste of time and money. Plain and simple. I bought my last subliminal tape five or so years ago, and that was about fifteen years too late to stop buying them. In my not so humble opinion it's a scam, and to even compare subliminal audios with snake oil is rude to the people who sold snake oil, I think.

To be fair to Shlomo (the owner of nlpweekly), he didn't sold subliminals but gave them away for free.

In addition research tells us that placebos do have an effect and subliminals are nothing more or less than placebos.

In general Bandler makes up stories all the time to make points.
Bandler is extremly good at making up stories.

Placebos have always been cast negatively. Tell me, what exactly is a placebo to you. A placebo is a temporary shift of your mindset. So if you want to be confident and you listen to a confidence subliminal and you become confident long enough to do whatever it is that you wanted the confidence for, then you've gained a lot. Regardless of the fact that its only temporary.

I'm not anti placebo. I just think that Shlomo doesn't want to do it anymore, when he took them down.

Well I don't doubt that Bandler is creative with his stories, otoh I also know that a lot of what he says is true. It's a judgment call on what you believe and what you dismiss.

Did you hear the one (that definitely is true) about him trying to sell a product called 'Placebo' and it was banned by the FDA? Very amusing.

I think we're splitting hairs here somewhat because I have NO doubt that they work as a placebo but that is the only way they work. In and of itself of course that is good enough for some people and in that case they can be useful.

Well, spot on. I've been thinking that myself for years and years. Bandler does come across as a walking, talking hyperbole machine a lot of the time. I'm sorry to say it, yet at the same time I think it's kinda funny.

Probably not since it is a different site that doesn't seem to have anything to do with NLPweekly.
