Default I'm Not A Very Driven Person

I don't know if anyone feels like this, but I don't like to rush things. I do things very slowly and just go with the flow and it's very calming to me and it makes like almost effortless. I'm a writer as of this moment and I just let ideas flow out of my head, I don't try to get them out as quickly as possible, nor do I stagnate on ideas at all. I just allow myself to be. The thing I find troubling about Personal Effectiveness is most people push themselves too hard, often exhausting mental and physical resources in order to do so, rendering them burned out before they even come close to reaching their expectations. I say, take the scenic route once in awhile. It make take a bit longer, but the view will be *amazing."

Default Choose the middle path

I’m pretty much the opposite. I try hard for everything. I give task my full effort. I plan and set goals. Work hard, play hard. But recently through meditation, I felt I should back off a bit. Let things go a little more. Appreciate them as perfect however they come out.
I think the answer for both of us is to go toward the middle. Don’t sway to much to one side. Set a few goals and do some planning but also let some things ride and don’t be too hard on your self.
