Default Celebrating Success

I doubt I'm the only one who gets so caught up in growth and improvement that forgets to take the time to acknowledge and celebrate achievements. But when we don't do this, we forget how far we've come and we can lose motivation.

We need to take the time to remember our successes and milestones.

I wrote an article about this recently, I'd appreciate your feedback and critique.

Celebrating success | Jonathan Mead

Thanks in advance!

Well I'm gonna make this tread an oppertunity for me to celebrate my successes!

I recently made some good music.

I got myself a new set of intentions and goals.

I started a fresh diet. I want to be healthy in any way.

I failed a lot of things too, but I have learned so much from then, that those losses are worth celebrating too!

So Yeey for me and Yeey for Jonathan and Yeey for all the other people in this thread!

Yeey !

I agree, this is a very positive and beneficial thing to do, I wonder how many of us want to develop but focus on "beating ourselves up" over failures, instead of celebrating the successes (no matter how small). I think if we all looked on the positive side of things like this we probably wouldn't have so many issues in the first place

Recent successes for me:
After years of saying I'd go back to playing the violin regularly, I finally found and joined an orchestra. A little outside my comfort zone for the moment, but it's a start!

I was finding it really hard to keep up at work recently so I did the scary, proactive thing and spoke to my bosses about it. They've been really supportive, have cut my workload down for the moment to a level I can handle more easily, and I'm now working on getting back to where I should be.

Yay, go me!
