| Posted this up on another forum, figured some people might find this usefull. First part I'm not fully awake (long weekend) so my thoughts are slightly blurry... I remember reading a post by someone a while ago about aligning your entire life into one direction, of removing fear and doubt. Making the entirety of your life a expression of who you are at your very core. Instead of being pulled back by a part of yourself and pulled forward by another part your one congruent whole moving in your chosen direction. The best gift you can give a person is this one undefided attention. As though they are right now the only thing important in this whole wide world and your here to help them in this moment. Its connected to the first part, every part of your being has to be directed in one single direction. Like a beam of light penetrating into the world and women. Its curious but when your entire life is directed in one direction, be it giving value or moving towards your goals (or both), life seems just seems to flow. It becomes easy and almost effortless, no longer a struggle. Most struggle is created when you are fighting against yourself all the time. When you can remove that struggle, challenges will still come up, but they can be dealt with in the moment. When they happen, not worried about hours in advance. Life also seems to assist you in everything, oppertunity's come out of nowhere. Perhaps its something esoteric like the Law of Attraction or perhaps just your RAS getting fired up, I don't know. Its strange though and very satisfying. Back to giving, you know giving is a part of everyone's core. When you truly realize how much is inside you and how much there is to give then the only end result can be the act of giving for the act of giving alone. Now this ties back into Self Expression in every part of your life, giving should be a way of reflecting your inner state to the world. Of making life a reflection or a expression of who you are, a giver. That alone should add HUGE, no MASSIVE amounts of value to everything you say. Simply because it comes from such a strong foundation. Second Part On that whole one direction, all the arrows pointing at the same target, its something that has been on my mind for the past few weeks. Basically the idea is aligning your life in one global direction. Doing this whole aligning means, stop doing the things that do not align with your goals. For instance, if we want to get our castle Pimp'A'Lot it would mean we need to work hard (which ain't bad). Now procrastination would not be in alignment with that goal. Imagining how your going to stop working when you achieve it isn't either. You'll just sabotage yourself into thinking; Well if I will just relax, why not relax right now? Aligning your life would be only thinking positive about your goals. To stop worrying and stop entertaining negative thoughts. Its about streamlining your life so that everything becomes a expression of who you are. For instance; I'm a neat person, I like things organized, probably part because I'm a very logical step by step guy. Now my room for example should reflect this, living in a place thats filled with clutter and junk wouldn't make a good fit. The result would be that I'd end up procrastinating, which is even less in alignment with who I am. Then I'll start to feel like crap untill the pain gets to much which drives me into action again. On the other hand, I'm also a extremely fun guy to be around. I'm spontaneous in my interactions and I love giving value to everyone around me. Talking to cute chicks would just be a extension of this, after all giving value (my attention, time, energy) is part of who I am. Personally I'm still in the process of realigning my life, I'm already starting to see benefits though. Mostly in motivation, if you know that whatever you do is part of who you are at your core it becomes SO much easier to hurdle past challenges. Procrastination just gets utterly obliterated. Something weird happened today though. Possibly connected to this whole idea (no clue). Saturday I've been out and partying the entire night, I drank a bit more then I was planning at the time. Beers kept piling up in front of me (at one point literally), not entirely my fault. Anyway Sunday I had a whole day training for Herbalife. Had to get up early and ****. So I was feeling like **** all day, still alcohol in my blood on the way there, my voice completely destroyed and mumbling random crap. I basically started waking up around the afternoon (had a great training by the way ). In the evening I started getting some more energy and stayed up untill around 11 pm (wasn't the plan lol). So I expected to be out stone cold for most of this morning, which wasn't exactly ideal. I remember thinking right before I fell asleep 'damn it would be nice to wake up early, fully awake and have a hugely productive morning'. Well I guess be carefull what you wish for. I woke up at ****ing 3 AM in the morning, 3 AM !! you hear me!? Couldn't get back to sleep, read David Deida Superior Man for half an hour figuring that reading should let me fall back asleep. Didn't help one bit. Go drink some water. Didn't help one bit. In fact I was wide awake, energy rushing through my veins. The end result before 8 AM I: - Meditated for 20 min. - Visualized success (hehe) for 15 minutes - Did some shovelglove (swinging around a sledgehammer) - Did the dishes (be nice to family, they let me live there) - Made myself a freaking delicious shake - Did some planning and set up a new system for keeping track of my progress - Showered - Dumped my body underneath a solar thingie (to get you brown, zonnebank in dutch) Well my wish came true, it sure does feel great. Moral of the story; well pay better attention to my thoughts right before falling asleep and who needs sleep anyway. This is from the RSD boards by the way in case your curious.
