Which article or blog on StevePavlina.com has helped/changed you the most?

I know, 'several!' Lots! But if you had to narrow it down to sayyy...Two.
What would you say...?

For me the one where he explained about how to get others around you to clean up or do whatever you've been desiring, by *not nagging* nay nay, but by merely doing more of what you wish they'd do. Like if you want someone you're living with to clean.

Then you start cleaning your things, and then lo and behold, it makes them start doing the same! That was so off the wall I had to try it. It worked! Amazing :p

That changed so many things it was just so cool to watch.

Then the one that personally changed me, and the one I've forwarded the most, by far, has been the Now Classic: 10 Reasons You Should Never Get a Job.

Excellent choices, don't you think? :)

I would say that first and foremost, the 30 day trials...not so much the article, but the idea of it being a temporary condition to guage whether or not you like it. I have never had a truley "difficult" 30 day trial, as I am always interested to finish so I can see the results.

Secondly, probably the concept of "overwhelming force". It goes very well with the 30 day trials...giving everything more effort than the idea can handle. Now, I am not an expert on this, but I work at incormporating it into all aspects of my life. Many times I find that if I am not doing something with overwhelming force, then I may need to re-evaluate that portion of my life to see if 1. It is no longer needed anymore, or 2. There is an unresolved issue somewhere.

That's in my top five.

:p *waiting to hear from ya*

It is so hard to pick just one. His blog on How to Build a High Traffic website was great (though I was on track in many areas) but really Steve helps people shine by making them reflect.

Therefore, the best read and most influential (so far) was:

http://www.stevepavlina.com/blog/200...ut-20-minutes/

And after discovering my purpose in life it brought me to tears...a very hard task to do and a rare event for me to cry.

Thank you SP!

How to Get Up Right Away When Your Alarm Goes Off

Has so far been the greatest of help to me (Along with How to Become an Early Riser). For years I have struggled with getting up early, and though I am still struggling, after reading Steve's articles I am now having a lot more success than I ever had.

And it's so simple, and yet it eluded me for so long...

Thanks Steve. :D

I really enjoyed, How to Get from a 7 to a 10.

It was very inspirational,

I have viewed a lot of inspirational articles her, but I guess what changed my points of view in terms of blogging is this...http://www.stevepavlina.com/blog/200...rom-your-blog/

Oh, wow, so the finding your true life purpose exercise worked well for you? Good. I'd been needing to do it, and have even thought of it like, while in traffic, or while folding laundry, and wondered if it would work on me, too. I trust the article, I just didn't know if my self would somehow be resistant to it. But your endorsement helps. I think I'll go ahead and give it the ol' college try. (what does that mean, anyway?)

Niice. It really is hard to pick just two. It's like, 'don't ask me to make that Sophie's Choice!'

My favourite one is "10 Reasons why you should never get a job". I thought it was absolutely hilarious and I enjoyed reading it several times. Love his perspective!

It did not take me 20 minutes...it took 5 days and about 15 hours (and is still not quite right) but...so close that the benefit of tweaking it is minimal.

The hard part is now taking it to the next level and practicing it. Then you need to set your goals and continue to strive for them. Steve offers so much inspiration.

Good luck Lenie

The positive effect from "The Courage to Live Consciously" can linger for days -- you've been warned.

Now I'm going to make a ceremony of it. Brew some spice tea and light an incense and re-read the thing! :p

Do it Now -- because this was the first I ever heard of Steve

soulful relationships because generating soulful relationships is where it's at

Is your Genius at work? I loved this book, and it was a huge help in distinguishing my inspiring life's purpose

....I also really like all the polarbearization stuff. You know, are you a black ear or a brown bear? A Grizzly or a Teddy? A bear of bad news or a ring bear? Bear necessities, or Beary materialistic? Bear down or bear up? Bear gifts or bear a resemblance? Are you major or minor? It bears examination, don't you think?

ooooooooh ya.

Does the first podcast/audio count as opposed to an article/blog entry? :p. Still listen to it regularly.

Lenie 02-18-2008 05:19 AM

Yes, sir!

It does if you say it does! Whether you're audial or visual the effect's still profound.
;)

For me it was the Fear of success article.

It isn't my favorite article, but helped me resolve a few inner issues that I had, and that way helped me a lot in my growth.

Lenie 02-18-2008 05:23 PM

Yeah.

It sure is.

A friend pointed out the 'How to make money without a job' as a joke cause I was being so lazy. That's how I got here. :p
