Default Being too hard on myself?

I sometimes accuse myself of not being self disciplined when I start something and it goes to the wall after a few days or weeks. I think we all know what i mean. Good intentions, but poor implementation.

However, I was talking about this to my wife just now and realised that amongst the peoples of modern western nations, how many can claim to have the self discipline to have.....

#1 Become vegan these past 4 years
#2 Given up alcohol almost a year and half ago
#3 Stopped smoking tobacco 14 years ago
#4 Dont do drugs
#5 Gave up coffee last year

All of these things I see as positives, not restrictions.

When I look at these achievements in the context of my initial doubt, I realise I might just be a tad hard on myself.

I was told that you should always celebrate all your wins - big or small. That's quite a list of achievements you have there. Good for you :-)

I agree with you there.
