Default 1 Personal Development Book per week – Week 2 Review

For the second week I read a book called The Second Bounce of the Ball by Sir Ronald Cohen.

For those not living in the UK , Ronald Cohen is the founder of the private equity firm Apax partners one of Europe’s largest private equity companies.
His is known as the ‘Father of Venture Capitalism’ and his book is a highly informative and engaging look at entrepreneurship and business in general. The book has distilled his wisdom gained through 30 years of being in the business of backing businesses and start up ventures.

It is clearly written, coherent, and easy to read and importantly full of essential and practical advice for any aspiring entrepreneurs or those interested in business generally.

I would give the book 10/10 or 5 stars on Amazon. It cannot be faulted and while of course by reading it there is no guarantee that you will become rich, I believe it can certainly make the path to building a successful business a lot easier.

Absolutely essential reading.

What was some of the advice he shared in the book that you found to be the most interesting or useful?
