| With the year coming to an end it's time to gather a bit feedback on how this forum is run. Since some month we decided to stick a challenge of the month thread, how did you like that idea? A have thought about making a thread with new year resolutions that would be sticked in the same way as the month resolutions. How do you like that idea. Do you think we should stick more threads? Does someone has other idea to improve this forum?

| I like the idea of a new year's resolutions thread and also the month-to-month threads. Even though I'm new and haven't participated much in those threads, I would like to starting 2008. It's a nice way to be accountable and show your progress.

| I too like the idea of the monthly, yearly commitments people make and put into this forum. Altough I do wonder how many people really follow trough on there commitments Maybe it is an idea to team up with somebody, who has the same or simular goals. So everybody is choaching and commiting to there goals in the same forum. Example: Anybody who also wants to put a great effort in learning an language? I committed my self to learn at least 20 new words and/or sentences of Chinese/Mandarin in Januari. It would be nice to have somebody kicking my *ss if I didnot fall though and I am prepared to kick somebody else his/her *ss too. Of course I'm not sure if this is a winning strategy, still it is more motivating to commit to a person then to a bunch of people. How to make this visible in a forum? We will figur that out, as soon as there is any enthousiasm for this idea......Is there? Merry Christmas, have a great 2008! Peek

| I like the monthly challenge threads. I think a NYR thread would be cool, as long as we don't view the New Year as somehow more important than the beginning of each month. More sticky threads would be cool if we got creative enough. |
