Thumbs up Improving your penmanship--anyone else have messing writing?

Throughout my schoolyears, one of my greatest sources of anxiety was my messy writing.

Several times, I would receive low marks due to illegibility.

The stress only caused me to write faster...and messier.

I'm going to put an end to this...NOW!

I'm going to improve my writing.

I hereby declare my intention:

For the next 30 days, I intend to practice improving the legibility of my writing.

I like this. My handwriting is so bad that even I have trouble making it out, to say nothing of others. It's especially true when I scribble a note, put it away and then re-discover it a month or so later. "WTF is that? Did I really write that? Was I in the midst of an epileptic seizure or something?"

The next 30 days, alas, are just too full right (write!) now to start on another PD but I'm going to bookmark the reference link and get rolling on it in mid-January or so.

In my nightmares, I have to write everything longhand. That's why this little gadget is my best friend!

The only thing that helped my penmanship was constantly reminding myself to SLOW DOWN when I'm writing.
