Default The Joy of Creation

Hey guys. I've written a new article about the importance of creation in your life. It's entitled Producer vs Consumer: All the difference in the world, and I talk about the positive changes and happiness that come into your life when you switch to the mindset of one who creates.

I hope you enjoy it.

I like this.

A few years ago I attended the funeral of a mother of a very dear friend of mine, and the pastor who was doing the eulogy said that there were basically two types of people in the world: givers and takers.

The deceased was clearly a giver.

The parallels between that eulogy and your blog post are striking. Good stuff, nicely done.

Thanks very much. I've heard similar things from preachers in the past, and I agree, but I think the idea extends far beyond a moral grounds and into all areas of life. Those that produce not only give more, but enjoy life more.

Thanks for sharing.

This might be remotely related, but have you heard of the "Prosumer" revolution or the "Prosumer" economy? It was coined by futurist Alvin Toffler to describe a trend of creative people who produce or create things not for any commercial gain but for their self consumption.

And I agree, one of the best things you can do in life that will give you a sense of purpose, control and joy is to be a creator.
