| Hey guys. I've written a new article about the importance of creation in your life. It's entitled Producer vs Consumer: All the difference in the world, and I talk about the positive changes and happiness that come into your life when you switch to the mindset of one who creates. I hope you enjoy it.

| I like this. A few years ago I attended the funeral of a mother of a very dear friend of mine, and the pastor who was doing the eulogy said that there were basically two types of people in the world: givers and takers. The deceased was clearly a giver. The parallels between that eulogy and your blog post are striking. Good stuff, nicely done.

| Thanks very much. I've heard similar things from preachers in the past, and I agree, but I think the idea extends far beyond a moral grounds and into all areas of life. Those that produce not only give more, but enjoy life more.

| Thanks for sharing. This might be remotely related, but have you heard of the "Prosumer" revolution or the "Prosumer" economy? It was coined by futurist Alvin Toffler to describe a trend of creative people who produce or create things not for any commercial gain but for their self consumption. And I agree, one of the best things you can do in life that will give you a sense of purpose, control and joy is to be a creator.
