Default Binaural Beats - help needed

I have been playing with binaural beat frequencies occasionally and I have got some good results.

I have a couple of questions, for which I seek inputs.

1. I want to have affirmations running in the background. What frequencies would be ideal? Should the affirmations be audible to my ears?

2. When I tried to listen to a theta frequency for 10 minutes, I felt uncomfortable and my head was feeling bit heavy. What is recommended - listening to a single frequency or listening to a range of frequencies i.e. starting off with alpha and then slowly tapering to a theta frequency.

I use cool edit.

Would appreciate your inputs, suggestions & help.

Thanks,
GK

If you know about holosync/centerpointe one of their selling points is that their affirmations (recorded in your own voice) are played in the frequency range above 20 khz. I don't personally know about the effectiveness of that as I chose to get it without any affirmations.

Hi Brutha,

The reason I want to use binaural beats is that I want to grow spiritually and mediatation is a means towards that end. I am aware of the benefits of binaural beats in meditation.

The reason I want to run affirmations is that I want to address some core issues that affect my performance in day to day lives. Instead of using EFT or other means, I felt that using affirmations with binaural beats would be helpful because we can easily access the subconscious mind.

Thanks.

I use binaural beats as well, and what works for me is actually repeating an affirmation over and over, as I listen to the binaural track. I did this with the affirmation "Every day in every way I am experiencing financial abundance", using a light beta-frequency audio. I got so into it that my affirmation became a mantra.

An hour later, I went to the city, and there, right at my feet was a bundle of money. I picked it up, and it was $100 in 20-dollar bills. True story. You could call it a coincidence, but I don't believe it was.

I would say start with light beta frequencies in combination with your affirmations and see how they feel/work. Then take it from there.
