I've picked up an amazing technique from the Getting Real book by the nice guys at 37signals.

It goes something like this "Seek and Celebrate Small Victories": or Release something today, get something done today...

I cannot even begin to explain what putting something like this in practice meant for my morale...

Yes this is a great book with some fantastic ideas! Definitely recommended to any sofware engineers/web developers out there!

Don't forget to do big things too.
Celebrating often may be nice, but celebrating big things (which took a long time to do) is much more rewarding
