Post your goals for november here! I'll begin: My october challenge was "no sugar". I failed miserably. This goal was too small and too boring. so November will be 1) raw vegan since sugar isn't raw, that includes no sugar too, but is more fun and experimental than just eating no sugar 2) meditate every day 3) visualize my goals every day 4) set up two blogs 5) earn some money doing what I love (amount doesn't matter, but doing what I love) here we go... |

Looks like great goals, Rose! Mine: 1) Make more money this month than I made at my old job in a month. (If I get a contract tomorrow that I have another interview for, I'm set.) 2) I will not drive to the grocery store. If I can't carry it home for a mile, I doubt I need it. 3) Clear up the last touches of zits. I'm really going to focus on getting these buggers GONE. They're better with the salycylic acid pads, but I am going to not wear make-up at least one day a week and really work on having my skin clean and clear before bed. |

My Novmeber goal is to finish nanowrimo. 50,000 words in November, this month. I failed in October because i set myself too many goals and i wasn't enthusiastic about them. That's why i've chosen one single goal instead of several goals.

October was crash and burn for me, so I'm taking it slow this month. I am currently taking medication for some issues that have been causing my problems, so I'm going to focus on reorganizing my life and getting 'back in the game' right now. November is gratitude month, so I'm going to try to take care of the things I have, spend more time with the friends I've already made, and just try to appreciate my life the way it is right now. When January rolls around, I'll be more ambitious. Not that I won't try to improve things, but I'm taking it one day at a time. |

Hi everyone, I just wanted to say I am truly touched by the amount of support I've received from all of you. When I posted my goal for this month and asked for some help getting rss readers. I really didn't expect the amount of people who would check my site and actually sign up!!! Great job guys! I don't want to report numbers yet because of something going on with how Google readers were being counted. But it seems you guys have a huge lead (in terms of hits) over another movie blog I asked for help from. So, of course I favor this site over the movie site. So anyways, to those who signed up, I wanted to say huge thanks! I'm still a little way from my goal, so if you haven't signed up for my rss feed, please help me surpass my goal!!! Oh and if you did sign up let me know in my comment area, I don't have emails of the typical rss reader and I wanted to give my readers a chance to win a prize. For information on the prize check here. Oh and don't worry I WILL NOT give you your emails for any amount of money. Ok, maybe for $2.5 million, but no less than that! ;-) Thanks again everyone, and if you want some humor to start off your work week visit my site today for this weeks top ten. Marvin |

November's Goals 1. Cut down on my soda addiction. This could be the hardest goal to attain as I suffer from major migraines on a daily basis and cutting down on my caffeine is only going to exacerbate that problem. 2. Read another book from Steve's recommended reading list. Last month I purchased and read Getting Things Done by David Allen and it has helped immensely in learning to get a handle on my work flow. 3. Continue to work on implementing the principals I learned from Getting Things Done. Since I work from home full time this has been slow going but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. 4. Finish writing my book. I too am participating in NanoWriMo. I participated last year as well and wasn't able to cross the finish line. So far this time around I'm a little over 3,000 words and counting and highly motivated. Balancing writing with my daily work is the tricky part as I tend to get overwhelmed with all my responsibilities. |

I have my annual cholesterol test in Dec, so want to see if I can improve the numbers (raise HDL and lower LDL) with my diet over the next month. So here is my 30 day challenge: 1. Only dairy products with 1% or less fat. 2. No deep-fried foods. 3. No added sugar. 4. No snack foods with > 2 g fat per serving. 5. 1 alcoholic drink per day (most days it's 0). 6. Eats nuts and or avocados daily. 7. Exercise 4 days / week. I already am mostly vegetarian (some fish), and eat foods with olive oil and whole grains, etc. This has been a great challenge so far because there is a large candy bowl filled with chocolate just outside my cube. Now I feel vituous not deprived when I pass it by. I'm making 2 exceptions - Thanksgiving and my daughter's birthday, so I can eat some pumpkin pie and birthday cake. My daughter is joining me on this challenge, but I told her she has to eat the Activia yogurt with sugar added so it doesn't go to waste. |

Hi everyone, I am new here and I really like this idea of monthly challenge. Although I start late...12th Nov...I still want to do the following - 1. study 2 hours a day 6-8 am 2. Yoga for 20 mins and meditate 10 mins everyday. 3. talk less. (I've been spending hours over the phone in non-lucrative conversations). 4. take care of my skin/health. 5. Keep my apartment neat and tidy. I'm a beginner. So, beginning in a small way. |

I'm eating maintenance calories and will go back to gaining weight in about two weeks. Not going back to wrestling yet because I haven't finished physiotherapy. My overarching goal for the next few months is to stay lean while adding muscle. Since I don't have a number-based goal it will be hard for me to keep on track.
