Default How to be a hard worker?

I'm still fairly young, and I know if I work hard and apply myself in the most important areas of my life I will go far... but I can't seem to apply myself. I get caught up easily with daily life struggles, and I think I play around too much and procrastinate. I want to enjoy life, but still be a hard worker so my future is bright... Any suggestions?

Be very careful what you wish for, my friend.

I grew up in a household with a very similar mind-set: WORK WORK WORK UNTIL YOU DIE BECAUSE THAT'S THE ONLY WAY TO BE SUCCESSFUL.

I still hear the echoes in my memory, bouncing around inside my head.

Working hard has its place, no argument there. But wouldn't it be better to work smart, instead of hard?

I second cdn2weeler, martin. Working hard, doesn't mean that it should be difficult. On the contrary, the most productive state is when the challenge just matches your skill. Sometimes when we are lazy or procrastinating, we are facing the task that is too hard or too easy.
