Default Photoreading a Book a day Challenge!

Hi,

I have decided that my goals for the end of this month and the next is to photoread a book a day. So far this has definitely worked for me and have already managed to photoread for 5 consecutive days and it has helped me so much with my studies. In total I have photoread around 10 books and my aim is to photoread 30 in the next 30 days.

I was wondering if someone had a similar goal like this or any experience that they would like to share concerning photoreading.

Thank you for your time and wish me luck!

Default PhotoReading a Book a day

I'm up to day 12 of my PhotoRead a book a day challenge. Each day, I do the preparation and PhotoReading for one book, and I manually activate a book from a previous day by super reading and dipping.

I found I occasionally have to choose books that I'm not as interested in to keep up, otherwise I'll want to spend much more time then I have to read a book! I also keep track of how long it takes to do each section.

Preparing and photoReading a book takes between 15-30 minutes and activation can be anywhere between 30 and 90 minutes, including writing down important notes or mind mapping.

Regards,
Sky High

Default Photo Reading A Book a Day

Guys,
Count me in for the Challenge. Today I will be photoreading a book thru all steps. I plan to do this a part of the preparation for the photoreading seminar I am taking next weekend.
Thanks
Adventurer.

Lightbulb

Over the last week I've realised that my goal shouldn't simply be to PhotoRead a book a day. Instead, I've modified my goal to be about learning and PhotoReading happens to be a secondary goal because it is the method I want to practice.

Now, my goal is to: "Learn all the information I want by applying the PhotoReading whole mind system on all those books sitting on my desk by the 21st of November."

Regards,
Yynatago

Default My 40 Day Trial of Photoreading begins today

Guys,
I am begining my 40 day photo reading trial from today.
This morning, I did the following
1. 10 minute relaxation response meditation.
2. Mastery - George Leonard
3. Zen - Learnings and History - Osho
4. Beginner's Mind - S Suzuki

I will activate Mastery and post the mind maps. Tomorrow my plan is to photoread 1. Awaken the giant Within. 2. Maximum Acheivement. 3. Mastery.

I just wanted to see if any of you guys felt like you were already achieving benefits from doing this challenge. Photoreading is really interesting to me and I'm really searching hard for positive information to push me into trying it out for myself. Also, what kinds of books have you guys decided on photoreading and why? That question is just a matter of curiosity.

Default PhotoReading for today

I photoread the following

1. Awaken the Giant within - Tony Robbins
2. Maximum Acheivement - Brian Tracy
3. Mastery - George Leonard

I have been lazy about activating. Activating is the important step in long term retention and application. I will activate Mastery today.

Does photoreading work? Yes. If enough practice and practice.

I still don't believe photoreading works. I'd like to find out if it does or not, but I'm not going to pay all that money, just to find out that it doesn't work.

I also find it very hard to believe some people on this forum because of past threads that I have read where someone will say "this definitely works" - then a month later he'll say "Oh, actually it didn't work".

What can I do? :P

I'm just a photoreading beginner too and the best advice I can give all of you is to go to the official photoreading forums (there's plenty of advice there for activation and also a lot of topics made by skeptics looking for proof on photoreading):
Forum for PhotoReading, Paraliminals, Spring Forest Qigong, and your quest for improvement: Viewing forum: PhotoReading

Default A quick question

Is photo reading much different to straight forward speed reading? Just curious as to whether it is something new or just a package.

Talking Photreading

Has anyone taught themselves Photreading through reading The whole Mind Systembook and not attending one of the photoreading workshops?
