Default Learning the Piano

One of my goals, which is at the moment, quite a longshot. Is to learn to play the piano. Specifically, i want to be able to play songs from Jim Steinman's Bat out of Hell 1 & 2 albums (sung by Meatloaf).

Can anybody help me with this? (for the moment) i dont want to go to a teacher, but i have the piano, and the time.

also, with regards to finding the music.
Google searches for sheet music turned up very little, but I would imagine that there is somebody who would know where to find these things on the internet.
They would likley need to be versions that compensated for the lack of other instruments, but really i have no idea, since Bat out of hell at least was originaly a piano only album

Hey Zach,

I've been playing the piano (and keyboards) for 17 years now and I would really recommend taking at least a few lessons. Learning to play the piano is not that hard and you can do most of it on your own. However, there are a few simple techniques that you need to learn early on, to ensure that you develop the right habits for moving your hands across the keyboard. If you don't learn those techniques, you will eventually reach a glass ceiling in the complexity of what you can play. At that point, it will be very, very hard to change your underlying technique.

As for finding sheet music, try Sheet Music Plus. They seem to have almost everything.
