Default Does Hypnosis Work?

I am beginning to wonder if hypnosis really works. I have been trying over a month, daily practice. I cannot really say that it has been effective. Anyone else draw a similar conclusion?

Hypnosis is not something that you do with yourself. It is normaly something that need two persons.

If you want to experience it you should go to a hypnotist.

I Do stage hypnotism and while it might be different from clinical hypnotism. Stage hypnotism defiantly works.

I've got a book called "Instant Self-Hypnosis" with about two dozen scripts. It definitely works, but paraliminals are more enjoyable. Though more expensive too.

By hypnosis, I meant self-hypnosis. Recorded hypnosis session played over and over again.

By the way, how are paraliminals different?

I senin

I am a registered clinical hypnotherapist. The question that you asked was the question I asked myself before I paid for my training. The answer is that it works for those who are motivated to get the result they want.My training in hypnotherapy helped me with lots of personal issues and in many ways it cleaned up my thinking, resolved fears and phobia and helped me learn faster.

If your looking for a hypnotherapist get one who is also qualified in NLP. Dont take them at their word make sure you see a certificate or qualification.

Many people pretend that they are hypnotists/ hypnotherapists when they are not - to do it properly you need indemnity insurance.

Self hypnosis does work - it takes three weeks repitition to embed information in your mind. After the three weeks you forget that it is there but it remains.

If you want a quick taster go to google video - see Paul McKenna and watch the accelerated learning video.
