Default Messed up life and how you got through it

I am wondering if anybody can share their stories of success. I need some serious motivation to get myself going. I'll try to make my long story short: Basically I missed a LOT of opportunities in my life and lost a lot of time due to procrastination. It's really strange how I get to work, but then 30 minutes later, I wonder why Im not doing work and something else. If I eliminate the distraction, I'll be doing other things. Basically my life is not in my control. I want to know how you guys took care of this problem and what made you see "the light." Thanks guys.

I cannot honestly describe what kind of past I had, or how messed up it was, and I don't really see much point in focusing on it anyway. What I have done though is to start eating really well, start going to the gym regularly, and start putting a lot of money in the bank. I focus on these things, I put them in the front of my mind, and I remind myself of the good impact they have on my life.

Here are two good techiniques to use:
1. Visualization
Picture yourself as a force and source of light. You are floating forward and the possibilities ahead of you are infinite in number and unlimited in potential. Behind you sails the past, but it has just been blown by because you have so much force at your back pushing you forward into this abundant relm of possibility.

2.Make Lists
There are more than a number of lists that can more than help you get on your way. I make a list of things I want to manifest. That is to say I write down everything I want in my life as if I already have it, if I already do have it, I also keep it on the list as a reminder, this list is the person I want to be, anytime you say "I want" or "I wish" write it down as if you have it:

1. I have a successful business
2. I travel often
3. I speak many languages
4. I have inner peace, I am happy with who I am
5. I can spell with confidence.

Read this list everyday, and read it anytime you feel a lack of direction and focus.

Hope this helps!
