Default how do success people think?

This is kind of a spin-off from "How do people with high IQ think". from that thread one can note that high IQ does not necessarily or always yield great rewards in terms of success in various dimensions of life (academia, personal, accomplished goals in life).

So, I'm just wondering " how DO successful people think?
I'm sure part of the reason is because they always see themselves 'winning', even through all their little failures

I guess it depends what you mean by successful. I am the most successful person I know. Great family, great career.

I think in terms of plans, logic and return on investment. Decisions must be backed up by a logical thought pattern. Spend time working on things I can change, plan for things I cannot change and spend an appropriate amount of time working on things relative to what you will get out of it.
Also strive to understand people, behind everything anyone says is a myriad of thoughts driving the statement.

In every situation, no matter what it seems like, there is opportunity to choose. To choose to learn and grow, or to choose to feel miserable and stagnate.

I am not claiming that everything that happens to us is inheritantly good but I am claiming that there is always opportunity for growth. For me, that has helped me reach my own success. And this is also what many self help books states.

There's a book on Amazon called 'walking with the wise entrepeneur' it contains the thoughts/quotes of a number of well known millionaires - so that might help if you looking at success in terms of money.

Many people dont measure success in terms of money but in other terms such as healthy rewarding relationships etc.
