| Hi, has anyone here had a go at Steves article 'Discovering your life purpose'? I havn't done myself yet but i'm thinking of setting some time aside for it this week. Just wanted to hear some opinions and results from other folk.. |

| Finding my life's purpose clarified a lot of things for me. Not only does it give me an extremely useful measurement for making decisions about how to spend my time and efforts, but it also improved my self-confidence. (Not that I lacked confidence in any obvious way before, but now I have a calm, quiet sureness that wasn't there before.) It's definitely worth doing the exercise that Steve describes. | Adolf Hitler decided that he had more than one life purpose. I believe that everyone has the same life purpose that is built in. The Dalai Lama says that the purpose of life is to be happy. | It has been a while, but if I remember correctly, it was somewhere between 15 and 30 minutes. It really didn't take long. Once I got it, I probably spend another half an hour writing about how my various interests fit into it. |

| It took me over 2 years of constant journaling to really find out. And I didn't start to cry like Steve did, instead I instantly just knew it is it and and I felt like a long row of open questions inside me just bowed together to one answer. Since that moment I have that calm sureness the other poster talked about. |
