Default Personal Development List Going Around

I'm not sure if you guys have seen the personal development list going around. It's a meme that includes an ever growing list of personal development blogs from all the corners of the blogosphere.

I'm assuming you're all into personal development, and always looking for a new site that my strike you as interesting (if not helpful).

I just reposted the list on my blog, so feel free to take a look and browse through the various blogs.

Alex,

Isn't it amazing how much that list has grown? What a great resource!

Thanks for posting in here to continue to spread the word about the updated list on your site.

Alex,
Thanks for the link. I'll be around to check it out.

FYI.

After being quite impressed with the quality of blogs on Pricilla’s list my friend Erin and I decided to hold an contest around a couple of questions that we've been mulling over for awhile.

The questions are...

How big of a role do habits play in your daily life? Do your habits typically form intentionally or unconsciously? What approaches have you found successful in shaping them?

If you're interested in finding out more here's the link. You don't need a blog to enter. Just email me your article and we will find a way to publish it (if you don't have a blog that it).

PS. The answers have been really interesting and so even if you don't want to enter it is worth looking at what others have written, here's a link for what's been submitted so far.

There are definitely some great sites on the list. Lucky Aaron is first on the list.... I wonder how much extra traffic this has brought him . Personally, the biggest difference I have seen is in my Technorati rank.

I'm not sure how much traffic everyone is getting, but like you I have gotten a slight technorati boost.

This is why I decided to give away the free ipod on my site. Those people that don't get much traffic, can at least have a chance to win something cool.

Peter,

Wow, I didn't think about my Technorati rank. I haven't looked at that in awhile - I'll have to swing over there and check it out.

As far as traffic, yes, there has been a boost, but I'm more excited about having so many quality blogs all listed in one spot for easy reference and networking with each other!

Jenny - I forgot to send you an email about my habits post. Here it is if you haven't seen it yet:

The Power of Habitual Habit Forming

Alex - I stole your idea and raised you one iPod, and some products from Mike Dooley and James Arthur Ray. ~

Free iPods, Success Systems, and Gift Certificates - all part of the Personal Development Push!

Good work on posting the link Alex! Btw, good work on the contest too. Were the 4 methods of securing a chance to win your own idea?

Interestingly, until yesterday my Technorati rank hadn't changed, despite quite a few days of being linked to because of Priscilla's list.

I started a new thread in the Tech forum related to this list. I'd appreciate your feedback: Request for Feedback: Personal Development Site Review Site

Especially you Aaron, I wouldn't want to potentially step on the toes of your new site.

No worries at all, Mark - although I appreciate your consideration. I actually responded to your post with the note that including that type of functionality in my site would be a great way to add value, so I am going to look into it and see what I can come up with.
