Putting a smile on my daughter's face and having her feel loved and secure every day. Her laughter can beat any other accomplishment you could possibly imagine for me.

i'd have to say finishing high school on time and getting scholarships that meant i didn't have to pay for my BA. the "on time" part has to do with a lot of very teenagery things i was doing my senior year of high school. so it took a lot of hard work to be back on schedule and it was very rewarding for me to receive those awards for school.

also, switching my career focus. it was the right choice even though it meant more school (when i am quite tired of school).

a 16-mile run I completed last April. The longest I had run previously to that was 8 miles, though I had been doing a lot of cardio training. The run took almost three hours but it was so incredible to really be in tune with myself and listen to my body, and the sense of accomplishment at the end of my run was amazing.

1. Sticking with getting my degree even though it took me 10 yrs! (and even though I'm not currently using it nor ever really did!)

2. That I made a difference in the lives of the kids/families that I nannied for for 12+ yrs. (hopefully)

3. Committing to a plan and losing 100+ lbs before I turn 40 this next Jan! WooHoo! Not at goal yet, but have lost most of it.

Great thread...

To YOUR Success,
Paula
