Default Overcoming limitations

Hey folks

I recently chanced upon this site while trying to look for some video clips that I could use for my training.

YouTube - Nick Vujicic

It's about this guy, Nick Vujicic; he was born without limbs, contemplated suicide at the age of nine, but overcome his sort-of severe limitations to become pretty successful in life. Having watched the clip, I realised personally that my own limitations may be a mind-thing, and it can limit my expansion. I was motivated and spurred on after having watched it.

Have fun watching it... and be motivated too.

Wow johnths... that's a fantastic eyeopener... thanks for sharing that with us...

Right here in my hometown we had the case of André Viger... at age 21 he had an automobile accident that left him paraplegic (paralyzed from the waist down) ...the guy had very little education... and was a factory worker at the time... and, here is what Wikipedia has to say about him...

André Viger (September 27, 1952 - October 1, 2006) was a French Canadian wheelchair marathoner and Paralympic.

"Born in Windsor, Ontario, Viger took part in five Paralympic Games in Athletics, winning three gold, four silver and three bronze medals.

Viger grew up in Sherbrooke, Quebec. In 1987, he was made a Knight of the National Order of Quebec. In 1989, he was made an Officer of the Order of Canada for being "a source of encouragement for young athletes and a role model for young people everywhere". [1] In 2005, he was inducted into the Paralympic Hall of Fame.

He died of cancer on October 1, 2006."

Following that tragedy... he became a National Hero... and, a life that seemed to be destined to almost total obscurity turned into an amazing success story...

Default Achieve your full potential

Shamou, knowing how these physically-challenged folks overcome their limitations to achieve their best makes me realise that having faith in God is key. It is also alot to do with this thing called FOCUS.

So, in all things that we do, if we want success, the skills, knowledge and FOCUS need to interplay to achieve the result, ya?

Everything needed to succeed can be summarized with these two quotes from Napoleon Hill... author of "Think and Grow Rich"

"Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve."

"A quitter never wins and a winner never quits."

Most of the success that I have enjoyed came from the fact that I was just too dumb to know that I could not do it... so, I just went ahead and did it... Today, I look back on those years and I can only smile... there had to be a God somewhere looking out for this dumbo...

That's a neat video. It illustrates the fact that in order to change who you are, you have to "re-program" your core thought patterns.
