Did Personal Growth and came out on other side
Read the book in 2 days. Seems like good stuff. I'll have to review it again.
Tried to do the life purpose exercise, among others. After 20 minutes and 17 items with no emotions I stopped, and went back to reading.
Liked the 30 day trial concept. Easy but effective.
Grew up very purposeful, taking full responsibility for my actions and fate. Did college, military, marriage, divorce, and disability. That's all a long time ago. I've even broken a few hearts, and made and lost a few fortunes since.
I don't know exactly what I was hoping for out of the book, but I was hoping. Guess that's just good marketing.
The life I have led has taken all of the 'want' from me. I don't have aspirations or dreams any longer. I don't covet. I don't get horny. I don't get lonely. I don't miss people, places, or things. I don't even get hungry. Literally, I want nothing. My days could be spent lying in bed staring at ceiling tile, and they would be no different.
I was hoping to get the want back in life. Instead I learned I'm a mooch.
