Bah!I give up. "Love" IS important.

Ever since I read this book, I can't help but to disagree with the "love" concept. So, naturally, I ignore that advice. I lived without much connection, save for necessary connection for my survival (food... well, I guess that's it). Been going on for almost a year.
I've no real world "friend", most of them are just acquaintances. This include my family as well. But, I always connect with "friends" from the internet. They led me to the wrong path (I don't think I want to discuss that), but they demonstrated to me the power of connection. I was actually more productive back then.
Now, I've disconnect with them, literally. Because my conscience suddenly emerged and recognized what I did was wrong.:(

Just want to say that.

Nevermind, are there some questions left?

Are you sure you're wanting "Love" or "attention"?

They're two different things. The problem is, our language uses the same general term to mean too many different things. If the Inuit have many words for snow indicating the type of snow and context and conditions, why can't we have context-specific definitions for love?

Loneliness isn't really the lack of "love" per se. I used to confuse this all the time (just a year ago! Do a search for some of my old posts and you'll see).

Steve's definition of "Love" is closer to agape, I think.
