Default Transformations of personal power

I have come to realize that in the world of the Pavlinian triangle my weak link is Power. In fact, I'm not even really clear on precisely what exactly my Power problems are. I know they are related to career, finance, and claiming my own value. What I'm not clear about is what I need to be doing differently or what I'm doing that's not working.

I'm interested in hearing how others who are challenged in the arena of Power have been making changes. What insights have you discovered? What actions have you taken? What has your process been like? Where did you start?

I'm very new to posting on forums and I welcome feedback on my posts.

Thanks for your contribution.

I feel so much more powerful than I used to. It wasn't until the end of September of this year I really started feeling powerful and now I feel like my power can be unlimited.

The two biggest impacts for me were choosing to move towards what I really desired and building empowering habits to get there.

I was pretty frustrated majoring in super boring accounting but I did it because my family advised it and I didn't have enough authority over my life to go for what I really wanted. Eventually I stopped going to class and started getting into blogging and did well with it. I was following my desire.

It was a sports blog but I found I was more interested in personal development, so I sold the sports blog and really wanted to make a full income blogging about personal growth but didn't know where to start. The whole process felt overwhelming, so again I was feeling pretty powerless. Only about a month ago did it really click for me as to where I should be putting my focus - habits.

I realized that if you want to be as successful as the people you look up to, you're going to have to build habits that empower you as much or more than their habits empower them. When you read or listen to advice from credible sources, it's likely that they'll imply that you should take their advice with consistency. They might say to meditate 30min a day or take a 20min walk daily or visualize daily or contribute daily. All those are habits. So that led me to 30-day trials and here I am working on my second one.
