Im still looking for this book!
Ordered it on Amazon back in October- after 3 months didn't receive it, and was told there was a problem with the order and they gave me my money back

So now Im in NYC and I was sure I could find it here. Went to Barnes and Noble they said it was not in stock in any of their stores...

Anyone know a NY bookshop where I can buy this book? tomorrows my last day in the USA

Heh. Actually, Danas is looking for Steve's book, Personal Development for Smart People Book. It might have been best to just try re-ordering it from Amazon. With only one day left in the USA, I'd call every local bookstore you can and ask if they have it. Good luck.

Angela, when you figure out how I knew what book Danas wanted, I think you might laugh.

Me too. I was confused at first as well. I assume you got to this post by using the "New Posts" feature in the forum.

Try Borders, they tend to stock more than B&N.

Yes. This has led to some confusion on more than one occasion, especially after I've accidentally plomped down in the World Affairs forum.

The publisher decides what versions to release, not Steve.

I was thinking it might be out of his hands. If Steve did want to release an eBook, I assume his contract would allow him to? I saw there's a Kindle version... cool!

The way the publishing industry works they make contract that gives them all the rights to decide whether to make ebooks, audio books and versions in other languages.

I see. That's a bit restricting in a way, but if they know what they're doing then I'd guess it's worth it.
