Did anyone discover the Easter Egg on my book's cover yet? The book has been out for months, and so far no one person has commented on it. I was once a game developer after all. It may not be as complex as the cover of The Da Vinci Code, but there's definitely a little Easter Egg there. Who will be the first to find it? |

I'll just say the Easter Egg can be found on the hardcover book as well as the paperback. But it's not present in the PDF that some early reviewers were sent.

Be aware! Nice secret message, Steve. However, I'm still convinced that one of these mysterious red shadow people on the cover is actually Sunny. (You need the real cover to see this clearly.) Look at the head directly under the "ow" in "Growth, and tell me that doesn't look like an android tilting its head: |

In fact, while writing the book I actually thought long and hard about how each principle could apply to AI just as well. The concepts of truth, love, and power can all be adapted to work as a guidance protocol for autonomous machines: discover new truths, cultivate and explore connections, and enhance power and capabilities. The secondary principles can also be adapted for AI rather easily. Of course there's a small possibility this could lead to something like SkyNet or the Borg.

| LOL One Czech writer (Čapek) invented the word "robot". (from Wikipedia: The word robot comes from the word robota meaning literally serf labor, and, figuratively, "drudgery" or "hard work" in Czech, Slovak and Polish. The origin of the word is the Old Church Slavonic rabota "servitude" ("work" in contemporary Russian), which in turn comes from the Indo-European root *orbh-. Robot is cognate with the German word Arbeiter (worker).) Then, another writer who has Czech roots, decides to turn the whole idea upside down and to invent conscious AI beings.... let's call them... un-robots? LOL again |

I do recall you expressing considerable interest in the field of AI programming before, arising out of your first career interest. It would be interesting to see how the Borg would use your Triangle as a framework. (And I'm quite convinced that the Truth+Love+Power framework will come to be known as the Pavlina Triangle.) The Borg idea of "love" goes a bit beyond just forming new connections, haha! But who knows, perhaps someday you'll be a consultant for USR. I'd buy that robot.

I'm not sure if Steve re-discovered it, or borrowed it.. as far as I know he is the first person to use the 2nd order principles derived from the triangle - Courage, Authority and Oneness derived from Love, Power and Wisdom in various combination. Most occult circles call it "wisdom" instead of "truth" but it's identical besides the word. And "truth" is a better word these days... the definition of "wisdom" has slowly shifted over the years making it less clear what people mean when they say "wisdom".

I'd never encountered the love, power, wisdom model. I define truth, love, and power in specific ways in my book. The labels aren't as important as the concepts behind them. Since they are universal concepts, you will find pieces of them reflected in any genuinely helpful advice. |

I actually prefer your approach compared to typical teachings based on ancient tradition because you have discovered it anew for yourself, and so made it fresh, and increased the potency.
