PDSP- Audio book???

I’m just curious if there are plans for an audio version of PDSP?? I have the paper version, but it is so deep in content, I would love to be able to just listen to it on my commute too.

If the book sells well enough, there will likely be an audio version that comes out around the time the paperback book is released. It depends on the interest from audio buyers.

The decision of whether or not to do an audio version is ultimately up to Hay House, and this depends on how well the hardcover version sells.

If there is an audio version, I'll record it in my own voice though.

Do us a favor: Don't abridge the audio version! Every word is valuable in your book. Much would be lost if something was left out.

It's somewhere in the middle between a total flop and a million copy bestseller. Overall I'd say it's doing very well, but since I'm not a book publisher, it's hard to say what "doing well" means.

I can say that less than 20% of the sales were via my Amazon links. Lots of people are buying the book in bookstores too.

Very awesome. I'm glad it's a success. I can't wait to read your next book on polarity. That was the topic I wanted to read after this book. Please keep us updated on your progress.

An audiobook would indeed be great! I love to listen to audiobooks and podcasts while driving.

I need to read this book again, it's been sitting in my bookcase for a year or two now.

I would like to download the podcasts contained on Steve's page, but when I click on the downward-facing arrow next to each of them, it simply opens a new page that is entirely blank save for a small bar with a few audio controls to play the podcast. Is there any way to save them so that I can listen to them on my iPhone rather than having to hear them through my computer?

For what it's worth, I'm on a Mac.

@Landylicious: When that window opens, just click "File", then "Save Page As..." and choose a place to download to. That should work regardless of your browser and the result will be an .mp3 file of the podcast.

Also! Later today I'll be posting narration of Steve's blog posts at Josh Reads Steve Pavlina. Feel free to give a shout with any feedback or requests for favorite posts that you'd like to hear read aloud.

Edited to add: it also looks like there are a couple other folks on the forums who have or are doing their own audio of Steve's stuff that you may dig.

Ctomek has done about a year's worth already at Steve Pavlina Personal Development Audio and raphaelb has a handful of different posts up at Empower Audio.

You can listen to the audio ones Steve has listed on this site to a MP3 player for free. Just drag them on like you do any music file. No reason to pay for them.
