I was buying another book as a gift and put the book in my bag. Later when I opened my bag, I found PDSP in there, which I'd picked up and decided not to buy just yet (there's a 15% off sale tomorrow). I must've accidentally put it in there though I really can't remember doing that. I find it ironic to steal a book which would probably advise strongly against stealing, and the author used to be a thief. I'll be returning to the store and purchasing it properly tomorrow or the day after. Just wanted to share this story, it amused me. |

Blueskied, I know. It's really weird. Akashic, I am going to pay for it. It's sorta weird, though, I've had no feeling of guilt or anything at stealing, it's just a mistake.

Lol. Not a thrill I'd like, thanks. Actually, what do you think I should do, Steve? I intend to return it and buy it properly, since I've been wanting to read it, and I'd like to support your work and thank you for all you've done for me through whatever little bit of money will make it's way down to you. What would you do? Also, have you ever tried to make reperations to the companies/folk you stole from? By paying for that stuff or something? |

"Before enlightenment: Shoplifting. After elightenment: Shoplifting." "Before enlightenment: Dick and fart jokes. After enlightenment: Dick and fart jokes." (Forgive me - my wife and I were watching Friends on DVD tonight for the first time in months...) Actually reminds me of a satsang with Adyashanti where somebody asked what he liked to do in his spare time, and he said he likes to ride his motorcycle and win his friends money when they play poker.

Lol @ comments. You can call off the police dogs and nationwide search. Turns out my gf bought the book and put in my bag and then told me she didn't when I asked her. She told me after two days. Even called up the bookstore and told them that if I come in trying to buy this book, they should not let him pay for it again. They were greatly amused. Lol. |
