Default The way love & power feels

Looking back on my life, at points I've felt I was more aligned with power, but not at all with love, and that felt cold and hard.

I've also had points more recently where I felt more aligned with love, but not at all with power, and that felt warm, but weak and squiggly (edit: and soft in a negative way).

Now, I'm getting glimpse of being much more aligned with power and love at the same time, and that feels so warm and so wholesome at the same time. It's a wonderful feeling - compared to the above two feelings where it seems like something was missing. I'm not saying I'm anywhere near fully aligned with love or power as I still have a tremendous amount to grow in both of these areas and I'm relatively new to this path. However, I'm enjoying and noticing how different it feels to have both principles growing and being more present instead of just one or the other (or worst - neither!).

This quote will always remind me of the director's cut version of American Pie.

That said, it's always very interesting when we experience the combination of these basic states. For me lately power has been very prevalent... and it feels a lot like being a cougar (or at least how I'd image a cougar to be!).

The interesting thing has been to feel and become one with those different ways a cougar lives... whether it be crouching and waiting to pounce, sprinting, lounging around, etc.
