Default Review of Steve's book on my blog

Hi guys,

Book arrived yesterday and I finished it, basically in one big session interrupted only by sleep. I love it.

If you're unsure if you should get it, read my review here.
It's also very easy to read if you're German, like me.

Have fun,
Bleicke

Hi Bleicke, that's a nice review

From your review:

I kept looking down to the page count and think to myself: fifty pages already?
On the other hand, I am more like "wow, still only on chapter 2??"

Heh, I'm reading the book so slowly - so many packed dense ideas that I'm having to take a lot of breaks to think about his ideas and ask the questions he asks. Not to mention I'm enjoying it so much, I don't want the end to come

Default Taking my time

Slow for me too. After each concept I have to do some journaling...

My favorite sentence in your review

Really, they already send it on amazon.de, even though it's marked as not available yet?

Yes, it actually arrived on Friday, but I didn't hear the doorbell ring (polyphasic failure resulting in very deep slumber). So I got it on Saturday.

I promised myself that I wouldn't buy another self help book again.

I have ordered this one just as a small token of my gratitude for a great website.

I hope I enjoy the book and will report back when it has arrived and I have read it.

Same here Rose.

I figured there's some kind of attachment I have to get rid of surrounding the book before I can have it.

Oh, and really good review! Thanks Bleicke!

Haha, nice way to see it! I think I cannot work through this life-changing book now, first I have to do a, b, c, ..., p, q, r... Maybe that's why.

Um, I'm in Europe (Germany) and I got it three days ago.
To all european people: IGNORE the "available on 14th" message on Amazon! Mine came on Friday. And yes, it also said available on 15th. And it still came on the 28th.

I canceled my pre-order on amazon.fr and ordered it on amazon.de. Shipping is more expensive this way but I couldn't care less, if I get it earlier!

Thanks for the tip, Bleicke.

I noticed that amazon.de has much more American books available immediately than amazon.fr. It's not surprising, but good to know...

Yes, they have a lot of english books. They basically have had everything I've ever looked for up to this day. Also shipping to France shouldn't be too bad - probably just 3-5 Euros?

Why don't you guys try ordering through a bookstore, like a Borders? I ordered mine through Kinokuniya, and I'm just charged RM94 for it, roughly the same as the original price, which is around RM90. I have to wait 3-4 weeks though.
Actually had to argue with the sales assistant that yes, the book is out, even though it said that the release date was Oct 15. Glad I got that sorted out.
