Hello, someone from Germany here? What about organizing an annual, Germany-wide meeting? Or spending a week-end all together somewhere? Or let's just keep contact... Wouldn't that be nice?

In addition I am from germany. I don't think many would want to travel to such a meeting if the meeting weren't near their city.

I've been to a lot of real-life-meetings with people from all over germany. The largest one was last summer in Berlin with about 60 people.

Anyways, I'm gonna open a new thread with a poll to find out who would be interested.

Hmmm ... I've just voted to attend a German local meeting if it's not too far from Austria (Kärnten) where I am.

But I see so far only 6 people would be interested ... I think I'll try to drum up something in Austria, maybe that'll work.

Great, freaker - tell them about us, let's spread the word and stay in touch, either in this forum or via my KOMMPASS Blog, I'll post something for a local Austrian group there soon.

I am sure with a bit of time we'll find enough people to put something together - let's see how it develops.

(Sorry for posting in a bunch of threads, but I would love to reach pretty much all of the German(-speaking) people here to get things going... not that many around it seems.)

Hey all, what's the status here? Are there any efforts right now to organize (more) meetups or similar? I'd love to participate and help organize or even take leadership in organizing stuff!
