OK How about a Friday night? Friday 17th November?

Somewhere in the CBD? I'd love to be able to have an intelligent conversation about intention on a friday night! I know a venue where you can converse rather than shout if anyone's interested...

Hi Hazel,

Next Friday is no good for me, but I'll be keeping an eye on this thread to see what everyone's preferences are for future meets, and to discuss Melbourne-related stuff!

The 17th is no good for me either, though I'm going to Europe for 3 weeks on the 19th so there's no need to reschedule to a later date for my sake since I wouldn't be able to make it then either

What venue are you referring to Hazel? I'm always on the lookout for a nice place to relax and chat without having to battle with unnecessarily loud music or the noise generated by far too many drunk people packed into a small space.

I like illia - its a coffee shop/bar during the day on the cnr of lt bourke and william, they're open on friday nights and usually quiet. It's nit like a pub or bar.

Yay! to all of us, those of us in melbourne,

just to repeat, the place is illia, small coffee-shop-looking place at the bottom of the building on the south east cnr of little bourke and william sts, the time 6pm onwards.

Like-minded friends we haven't met yet will meet!

Those of us elsewhere at the time will be sharing our love anyway. And we'll see what your faces look like at another time!
