OK Holden, saving the axe for another time... 1-2 June is good, and happy to meet at anywhere generally! Sorry - have been distracted a bit lately. All good :-) Is anyone offering a venue? Much love to you Hazel |

OK, my vote is for Friday - stick with the emerging tradition! For venues, everyone is more than welcome to come to our house in the hills (crash overnight if you like), or maybe Bar None again? Depends if you prefer the centralness, or the adventure and cheap food and booze-ness! We're open to better suggestions, though! Sooo, what say you? I'll PM address details if the vote is for our house. Cheers, Claire |

Lovely! We are a 5min (uphill) walk from a train station, if anyone wants to do the public transport thang. Hey Hazel, we make our own fun - who says our house isn't as fun as a bar? Evan, Holden, Jillian and any other lurkers - let us know if this works for you. Cheers, Claire |

Evan has put in a request for Bar None - I assume that is cool with you guys? I was thinking that we could perhaps do a Saturday/Sunday afternoon thing sometime in the future at our place - seems a waste to come up and not be able to show off my garden! Once again, I throw it open to the boards! We are all agreed on Friday, yes? Cheers, Claire |

Heya. I'll have to take a raincheck for Friday; I'd had some other plans that were previously made for last week being re-scheduled. Not actually sure if it's happening, so I'll let you know when I know. Anyway-- if it ends up at Bar None, worst case I'll try come by for a little while. Hope to see you all. |

Hey, just a heads up! I haven't posted on this thread yet but I may be able to drop in to Bar None tonight depending on what time my earlier plans finish up (It's on the other side of the city from me too). I'll hold up a cardboard sign with Steve Pavlina written on it |

Hi, let me ask this to someone from australia - are australians generally mentally strong and tough. I always get this impression every time i look at the aussies play cricket or any other sport. What is the secret of their mental strength ? Execuse my if i've posted this at the wrong place. |

as5tx: We didn't come up with a response for you in the end, so I think the conclusion is that yes we are all mentally strong and tough, just a little... slow... In all seriousness no, there's nothing about our country that makes us any more mentally strong than any other Western country, though it's flattering that you see us that way. Nathan: Next time, 'aight! |

Right, time for another get-together, me-thinks! Friday 3rd or Sat 4th August - how does that suit everyone? If you want to travel to the hills (our house), then Sat afternoon/evening is good. Bar None is always a good Friday option. Hope everyone is well, and that they have lots of PD breakthroughs to share! |

Either of those days is fine with me. As would be a drive up to the Hills And I do have some news to share. Though I think I mentioned my plans last time anyway, so it's probably not so surprising (and less so if you've kept up with my blog) |

Yay! Sat 4th it is. Let's confirm the time closer to the day. I'll PM or email everyone the address next week. For any Melbournites that we haven't met yet, I'm in the outer east, as you can see from my sig. We'd love to meet you! Sharyn, I'm so glad you can come! |

hey everyone I have not been in here a while, as i have been busy with something for most of this year. Saturday 4th of August at Cela's place. Sounds good. Bar None may be okay for talking to the person sitting up to two seats away, but acheiving a full conversation for larger numbers of people is less feasible with the background music. Hope to see you all again, and any new people i have yet to meet. |

Hello fellow Melbournites ~ I am sorry I haven't been around for the past while. I have had a lot of heavy duty family issues to deal with over the course of the past 4 months. Still a bit fragile but it may be good to meet some positive people again. I don't have a car any longer so getting to the Dandenongs may be tricky. |

Declan, we'd love to see you! Tayne and I live very close to a train station - not quite at the top of the mountains! It's an easy walk from there, or someone can pick you up... no excuses now! |
