| So I should remove at least a few of my 32 facial piercings? And maybe the mohawk isn't the most suitable style for this meeting. But don't think I'm giving up my skin-tight black jeans or waaaaay too tiny t-shirt! (they make me feel snug)

Thanks Hazel - much appreciated. See you tonight! BTW, I just checked out the Bar None website, and they have a mighty fine list of cocktails! Perhaps I shall have to sample one or two... |

Well I don't know about the rest of you, but I had a great time on Friday night. Thanks folks! Here's the pics I managed to get home without paying any conscious attention to the direction I was walking and I really enjoyed the walk. PS: Nothing has come to me for a name yet. Any inspiration for anyone else? |

Hey guys and gals, I had a great time on Friday, too! I'll definitely be going back to Bar None – perhaps on a less humid day, though. Thanks for uploading the photos, Mark! Can't wait for the next meet-up. Brendan, if we can use the venue you mentioned sometime, that sounded cool. Videos, workshops, eating-in, BYO... As for names, how about: SPAM – Steve Pavlina Australia Melbourne SPAsM – Steve Pavlina Australia (specifically) Melbourne PMS – Pavlina Melbourne Sect PAMM – Pavlina's Australian Melbourne Mash-up MAD ASS – Melbourne Australia Discussion About Steve Stuff MEDS – Melbourne Educational Discussion of Steve I could go on... |

Claire! Great name ideas, I can't beat them for their acronyms! I was thinking about something along the lines of Personal Development for Smart Melbournians, which just makes PDSM. I vote for SPAM!! Love the photos Mark, thanks. Promise I'll wear a less see-through top next time, I'm definitely up for the hand-on version of the next meet up. When shall we convene? Brendan, when CAN we convene? Yaay joy to you Hazel |

A creative burst there Claire. MAD ASS sounds kind of funny, but i dont know about using though. I never imagined myself to say yes to spam, But SPAM is good. It wasnt exactly loud in there, but i did have difficulty hearing all of what was said, anything beyond 2 people next to me. Maybe it was just that i was tired. I was up since about 2 in the morning so that certainly did not help. I am curious if anyone else had difficulty hearing fully the conversations across the group. Evan, i guess you would have been fairly right with that, as you were seated between everyone. |

Hmm, I thought I replied to this again... *stratches head* I had the same issue Alsy, and I noticed a few others had difficulty hearing me if it didn't raise my voice. Perhaps it's because we were underground and there was a lot of noise trapped down there. Nice work Claire! SPAM is cool, but I really like SPAsM! And PAMM has the best sounding full title. Hmmm, but how to work Personal Development Forum into it? Heh, SPAM.PDF. |

I was TOTALLY joking with those names! I actually like Hazel's suggestion, PDSM, although the acronym is perilously close to BDSM. SPAM.PDF is kind of cool, though – especially as all of us (so far) have some kind of IT/tech/geek background! |

Hi fellow Melburnians, Glad to be back in circulation after my big move and lots of issues with getting my wireless connected in my new house. The pictures of the previous meet up are really good. As for the acronyms I really like PDSM but thats just my dom(inant) personality |

Declan, glad to see you back online! How's everyone looking for a meet-up in a couple of weeks? I haven't seen Brendan post recently – would be great if we could use the venue he suggested. Perhaps a more structured event this time – we could do some goal setting/mastermind group kind of stuff... or we could just continue the general flow and see how we feel. I'll bring pen and paper just in case! Hope everyone is well, and moving toward their dreams. Cheers, Claire |

After some open-minded friends----- who don't mind mums, who don't mind brutal honestly, who don't mind free thinking females, who aren't shallow. If any of you or all of you happen to be interested in making a new friend, I'd love to fill the spot. I lived in Albert Park a few years back before moving to Sydney but have recently moved to Hampton Park (Hallam). I run my own business from home so don't have much opportunity to meet people, but have a very supportive hubby who wants me to get out and meet my own friends sooooo would love to hear from anyone anywhere in melbourne. Looking forwarded to meeting you all!

Howdy all Welcome Amanda! I used to live in Endeavour Hills Congrats Hazel! Strangely, while I have a few goals I'm working towards, and a few intentions put out there, a woman is one thing (though not a thing, you know what I mean) that I haven't been focusing on, despite wanting one. I'm not sure why that is (though I have a feeling, and could work it out if I spent some time with it). A goal setting/intention meeting sounds good. And maybe some EFT work Hazel? I'm not getting any results on my own |

Good to see everyone's on board for another get-together! AmandaP - we'd love to meet you! Mark, just so you know, you'd be an absolute catch for any woman – your thoughtful posts on this board are wonderful to read, and you're handsome to boot! Are you embarrassed yet? Are Friday nights still good for everyone? How about the 16th March? We'll wait on confirming a venue - if we can't use the place Brendan mentioned, where would you like to go? Cheers, Claire |

Thank you Claire, I really appreciate the compliments. 16th March is fine with me. The bar up on the roof of Cookie is a great venue on a nice night, but it's small, so not a good option on a Friday night. Everywhere else I can think of is similar to Bar None; cosy, but tends to get loud on a weekend night. Spleen Bar, Transit Lounge. Maybe somewhere further out from the city would be better? |

Hi All, I second the compliments, Mark, you ARE a catch! Shame I'm taken!! Mark I'm happy to help with EFT any time! Give me a call, but happy also to put on a workshop for everyone as well. 16th March is doable for me too, Brendan's venue sounded good, we'll have to ask him... bar none was good but not good for hands-on, and we need to get TheFlyingMan in on it as well. He's talking about the same concept. AmandaP - Hello! I'm a Mum too, and running my own business from home! Excellent to meet you! A group intention would be fun too. I just learnt Theta Healing, and you can do intentions really well in that. yay! much love all Hazel |
