Frappr map

I thought it would be a cool idea if we could graphically show peoples' locations over time, making it easy to think about hooking up with people to form local groups? Frappr seems to offer this sort of funcionality so here as an experiment is my Frappr map

Sounds like a neat idea. I don't have a Frappr account. Do the allow us to embed this page into another?

I'm not sure, I'm new to Frappr myself. I'll have a look.

And I see you are in Toronto, pi11... beautiful city, beautiful country... my birth mother lives in St Catherines... don't visit half as often as I would like

We could always look at integrating googlemap functionality instead... I've just been looking through the API's and it looks as if, if someone had the time and inclination, an in-house solution could be created with huge flexibility

I love living in this part of the world.

It would be neat to have the frappr or google map presented for the local group threads. If I had the time, I could write something up. This is a call for anyone interested in writing up a forum plugin that allows for that. It would be a neat way to learn about SOA, web services, AJAX, etc.
