Mauricio is on a distinguished road
Default Social support.

Something important to keep progressing is the social support, those likeminded people like the ones you can find at a cgw.

and in regards to this, i'm actually disapointed due to haven't yet found someone in my city who reads this blog (without me recomending it with not so much success due to language barriers).
In the forums i've seen less than 10 people from argentina, and i'm sure there are thousands of readers of this blog in a country with 40 millon of habitants.
(However, this can be applied to any country/city)

There is a very possitive impact in positive social support, in contacting peolpe in your city.

For example, one of the most benefitial things of a cgw is the friends that people make there.

It could be made much more consistently in every country and in every large city of the world.

My suggestions to make this site more effective in helping contact local people:

1- Steve should make a post about the importance of social support (steve have talked a lot about it, eg in the cgw posts)
and how ussing the local groups section of the forum could help you contact likeminded people.
I know steve suposedly doesn't read the forum anymore, but it would be important that he receives this message.

2- Create sub sections of this forum to help people find threads according to location.

For example:

Local groups:

North america.
South america.
Europe
Asia.
Africa.
US.
etc.

And under that all the treads that aren't region dependant.

The specific sections aren't so important but the division is important so people can find threads of interest without searching within the 14 pages of threads of the Local groups subforum.

An example of this forum division is here:

Salidas - Quedadas - Alas - Seduccion foro de PUA - Seducir mujeres

Hope we can make this subforum more effective and help people make local contacts.

Implementing 1 and 2 would do a good job in this direction.

Hey, Mauricio. I'm currently living in Argentina. Still we aren't local, you're in Rosario, and I'm in Buenos Aires.

I would suggest that you do not focus on searching people who read this website, but instead focus on finding successful people. Most of the successful people are into some kind of personal development, even if they call it differently, like "skill building" or "financial education".

Successful people are usually wealthy too, or at least are doing well financially, so you could find like-minded folks in a place where wealthy people gather, like nice coffee shops.

Other strategy would be going to personal development seminars in your city, and making friends there.

Yet another strategy would be picking the topic you like, even if it's non-pd related, going to the place where people interested in the topic gather, and then making friends with the most successful people you can find there. I am learning to play musical instruments, so I usually hang out before and after concerts with local (and sometimes foreign ) musicians.
